Our Consulting Engineer Rob Richardson recently gave a presentation to more than 150 delegates at the 10th World Aqua Congress in New Delhi. Attendees came primarily from India and the Middle East and Rob’s presentation generated a lot of interest which is currently being followed up.
Rob’s presentation was right on target for the theme of the conference, “Water – smart solutions for growing India” and Hydro-dis® is currently working on developing specific solutions for smaller scale applications in India. The Indian water market has many opportunities for technologies like the Hydro-dis® where water born disease is one of the leading causes of death in children under 5 in India. This highly competitive market is seen by Hydro-dis as a major opportunity for the company’s growth. Company representatives have been to India twice in recent months and further visits will be made in 2017. Hydro-dis® would like to thank Enzen Global Solutions for creating the opportunity to present at this event.
Chemical-free solutions impress in Rajasthan
On a recent visit to India the Hydro-dis® team visited Village Soda (near Rajasthan) to demonstrate the Hydrodis® technology. Our water treatment technology facilitates clean and potable water without the need to purchase, transport and store or use hazardous chemicals. These attributes are proving to be of great interest in the sub-continent. The photo below shows Rob and Graham setting up the demonstration in Village Soda for the Sarpanch (mayor) Chhavi Rajawat, the Chief Engineer Rural Mr A.J. Jain Public Health Engineering Department Rajasthan and the Honourable Karlene Maywald Strategic Advisor – Water Opportunities Government of South Australia.
